bbbbbrip.......the past few weeks in photos.

remember those days when I used to cook all sorts of stuff and take lotsa photos? Yea......I can't wait until summer break when schedules are not soooo hectic and I can have fun in the kitchen again. Things here are well except for all the snow. I will be back shortly with some pics of the latest happenings including my finished pair of baby mocs. Love and hugs and huge piles of laundry.

something to ponder

I was talking to Dad and he asked me a question. The H.pylori is back and as I get ready for another round of meds he asked "what happens if the pylori becomes resistant to the meds? Can they just remove your stomach and be done with it?" Sounds extreme I'm sure but whats considered extreme when it comes to this bacteria that probably killed my mom and likely will never fully go away? Its given me serious food for thought. Love to you all.

since last month

This last group of photos were from the girls and I going to see dancing at the Native heritage center, then to Peggy's with Daddy for lunch. I think those pics of him and the girls are hilarious. Then we went over to our friend Andrew's to play in the snow and sun.

My obsession lately has been to save all the glass jars I come across and use them for misc. food storage. And also there is a pic of my new kid friendly napkin holder.

JULIE brought over the twins!!! They are adorable and almost a year old.

Typical dinner of pork beans and rice and warm tortillas. That pork was laden with habanaros and the girls ate up every bite!

Then the trip to the museum to see Star Wars!! That day we also went to eat lunch at a downtown hotdog stand, again in the sunshine. The girls had a blast.
this shot cracks me up. I didn't realize the unbecoming angle at the time.

and the sick goes on

for about 10 days now we have been battling high fevers and coughs. I am not a huge fan of antibiotics whenever a kid gets sick but enough is enough. Plus with big El's habit of getting walking pnemonia we just didn't want to let it go on any longer without getting it checked out. So we got our first case of strep throat, ear infections and oversized tonsils that may have to come out. We take Elsie in on the 26th to the ENT guys to get her tonsils looked at. She snores like a beast and I've always wondered about it. Sean says when I'm really tired I snore but hey my tonsils actually touch they are so large. Anyways....we've been stuck in the house for days and as you can imagine are going alittle coocoo. We finally went out on Sunday for a drive and it was beautiful, sunny and just what we needed.

Here are some happy pictures of Boo + Elsie that my cousin Asia took while I was out picking up Denali. I love them.

Cute yes?!

So wish us luck in antibiotic city. Hope everyone out there is having a beautiful life. I'm going to go dance with the sickies now.
love and stuff.
