The best....

This has been one of the best weekends in recent memory. Sean and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on Friday. My lovely friend Jenny stayed with the girls for awhile so we could get some alone time. It was wonderful. Saturday we took the girls down to beluga point and let them run around and be crazy on the beach there. Denali showed her skill at climbing while the other two poked at kelp and ran around in the sunshine. We then went to Girdwood were we shared some pizza and proceeded to drive down the road to one of those little ponds that form, one of the ones you can walk behind. It was a blast. Sunday we drove to Seward it was windy and I swear it was spitting snow at us but we love Seward anyways. When we pulled into the sealife center we got to see about 4 or so sea lions out in the bay which is always exciting!  All in all it was a beautiful relaxing weekend spent with the family.  Heres some even better news though.........Sean got a raise and a title change. Yeah it actually happened 1 day after he got vested, buggers. We are extremely excited and he feels really happy about it which is huge because you know.....it takes alot to make that man feel happy. May must be my month, its always been my favorite but come on this is almost over the top. Also my best ever girl Brynn will be here on the 24th for a visit which is always a breath of air desparatly needed, hardly anyone in this new life of mine know me the way the girl knows me. I can't wait I can't wait I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! love happieness sunshine and warm hats.

bbbbbrip.......the past few weeks in photos.

remember those days when I used to cook all sorts of stuff and take lotsa photos? Yea......I can't wait until summer break when schedules are not soooo hectic and I can have fun in the kitchen again. Things here are well except for all the snow. I will be back shortly with some pics of the latest happenings including my finished pair of baby mocs. Love and hugs and huge piles of laundry.

something to ponder

I was talking to Dad and he asked me a question. The H.pylori is back and as I get ready for another round of meds he asked "what happens if the pylori becomes resistant to the meds? Can they just remove your stomach and be done with it?" Sounds extreme I'm sure but whats considered extreme when it comes to this bacteria that probably killed my mom and likely will never fully go away? Its given me serious food for thought. Love to you all.

since last month

This last group of photos were from the girls and I going to see dancing at the Native heritage center, then to Peggy's with Daddy for lunch. I think those pics of him and the girls are hilarious. Then we went over to our friend Andrew's to play in the snow and sun.

My obsession lately has been to save all the glass jars I come across and use them for misc. food storage. And also there is a pic of my new kid friendly napkin holder.

JULIE brought over the twins!!! They are adorable and almost a year old.

Typical dinner of pork beans and rice and warm tortillas. That pork was laden with habanaros and the girls ate up every bite!

Then the trip to the museum to see Star Wars!! That day we also went to eat lunch at a downtown hotdog stand, again in the sunshine. The girls had a blast.
this shot cracks me up. I didn't realize the unbecoming angle at the time.
